Many businesses have either limited or no visibility of their overnight, weekend and non-productive hours energy usage. We offer the capability to see this electricity usage in fine detail. From this data we can work with you to identify, quantify and reduce this usage and hence save you money.

How Do We Do This?

First - We fit monitoring equipment to your electricity supply - it takes a few moments, requires no tools and is passive - so entails no downtime, disruption or risk to your business. We would typically install this for a 24 hour period and it has the capability of taking a reading of your usage every 6 seconds. It is suitable for single or three phase supplies up to 70 amps per phase. We also install a receiver (via wireless) elsewhere on your site and link a laptop to collect this data.

Secondly - We would return after the agreed monitoring period and remove the equipment. We will then extract the raw data and create the required visual aids of your usage.

Typical single phase results

Thirdly - We arrange a convenient time to work with you, and using the data and our knowledge, identify where energy is being wasted and any other relevant issues. We can give you guidance on procedural changes, staff behaviours and technical advice. We can perform an optional further data gathering exercise to show the reduced usage.

This is our core service and we can do much more depending on your requirements - these would be tailored to each client. So far we have found that this service always shows worthwhile results and typically the payback period would be less than a year - often only a matter of 3 or 4 months. This of course depends on many factors, but the service is applicable across all business sectors and is especially suitable (and affordable) for very small businesses.
